Gandhāra

Considerable literature has already been written and available on the history and archeology of Gandhāra and there would be virtually no research work without an introduction to this region. Therefore, this chapter on Gandhāra and the archeology of Gandhāra is not an in-depth study, but rather a brief introduction just to provide a foundation for readers who may have little understanding of this region.
