This study presents a statistical characterization of rock properties in Changshou, Chongqing. The log data of boreholes are collected and used to develop a 3D geological model. The statistical analysis of rock properties is performed to describe the spatial variability. The lognormal distribution and Weibull distribution are adopted to describe probability density function of rock properties. The results of this research can help to establish random field considering rock spatial variability for reliability analysis in geotechnical engineering.

摘要

This study presents a statistical characterization of rock properties in Changshou, Chongqing. The log data of boreholes are collected and used to develop a 3D geological model.
