Experiments were conducted using a self-developed thermal consolidation device suitable for hollow cylindrical specimens. The tested soil was silty clay commonly found in the northern regions, obtained through core drilling in the northwest part of Beijing. After drying, crushing, and sieving through a 0.5 mm screen, the remolded soil samples were prepared according to the standard with a moisture content of 15% and dry density of 1.66 g/cm3.

摘要

Experiments were conducted using a self-developed thermal consolidation device suitable for hollow cylindrical specimens. The tested soil was silty clay commonly found in the northern regions, obtained through core drilling in the northwest part of Beijing. After drying, crushing, and sieving through a 0.5 mm screen, the remolded soil samples were prepared according to the standard with a moisture content of 15% and dry density of 1.66 g/cm3.
