Carbon Domes—The Impact of Urban Form on Plant Carbon Sinks
摘要
Carbon neutrality is crucial, especially for buildings which are major carbon emitters. Achieving this goal requires action across urban planning, landscaping, energy, transportation, and operations. However, current research often focuses on reducing emissions within specific sectors, neglecting overall carbon balance. To address this gap, we propose a pilot study on carbon-neutral communities, with a focus on urban green spaces as carbon sinks. By starting with Tongji University as a case study, we hope to expand our findings global scope.
