Research in the area of nanomaterials especially related to nanocellulose and their composites has gained much importance in recent history. A very limited appraisal of some of the mechanical and thermal properties of the nanocellulose-based composites and the reasons for the manifestation of these properties along with some potential drawbacks are presented in this manuscript to obtain a quick overview. An important reason for the growing attention of nanocellulose-based materials is due to their inherent properties especially mechanical properties which make them suitable for many engineering-based applications. Further research is required to evaluate the mechanical and thermal characteristics of numerous unknown naturally occurring fibers and other agricultural outputs, including agricultural waste, in order to increase material sustainability and replace environmentally friendly hazardous synthetic materials.

摘要
