In this study, we investigated harmonic oscillations in a coronal loop linked to an active region NOAA 12680, triggered by a GOES M4.7 class flare on August 28, 2021. The oscillating loop was observed using the Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) aboard the Solar Dynamics Observatory, and we estimated its length to be 172 Mm. The fundamental mode oscillation has a period of 18.5 min, with harmonics occurring at 7.6 and 4.2 min. Furthermore, utilizing the length of the coronal loop and these periods, we estimated the Alfvén speed in the loop to be 300, 559, and 1012 km/s for the respective modes. Additionally, the magnetic field strength in the coronal loop was estimated to be 11 gauss.

摘要
