Agriculture is a vital pillar of a nation’s economy. However, agriculture is both time-intensive and labour-demanding. Relying on traditional farming practices often results in significant losses for farmers, affecting both productivity and financial stability. Agrobot (Agricultural Robot) is the suggested solution to the aforementioned problems. The Agrobot is capable of carrying out multiple tasks such as planting, weeding, watering, and pesticide spraying, all made possible through robotics and automation. The robot is equipped with sensors and cameras that allow it to navigate through fields and identify crops, weeds, and other objects. The system is used to monitor and manage crops, identify problem areas, and predict potential yield. The Agrobot will also aid in minimising pesticide usage, which in turn helps to lower environmental pollution. Automation in agriculture is still in its nascent phase, and there are several challenges to overcome, such as developing algorithms that allow robots to perform complex tasks. But, advancements in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are making these tasks increasingly attainable. With ongoing research and development, it is likely that Agrobot will become an increasingly important tool for agriculture in the future.
