Actigraphy and Wearables in Sleep Disorders

Actigraphy is a widely used tool in the assessment of sleep disorders, offering a non-invasive and objective means of monitoring sleep patterns in both clinical and research settings. While actigraphy is valuable for its ability to capture sleep behavior in naturalistic, free-living conditions, its application in various sleep disorders, including insomnia, sleep apnea, and circadian rhythm disorders, comes with both strengths and limitations.
