Water-related disasters from extreme weather phenomena are anticipated to be more destructive and disastrous under future global warming. To mitigate and prevent water and weather-related disasters we need to assess the impacts of global warming on extreme weather. This session discussed how the GADRI community influence or direct policy makers for achieving SDGs and climate change adaption. Field measurements for a sustained period of time is critically important to monitor environmental and climate changes. Data and/or experience sharing from field measurements were also discussed.
