Curved Crease Folding with Circles
摘要
Curved Crease Folding has a tradition that begins in the late Baroque and was rediscovered during the Bauhaus. It grew in popularity in the 1960s. This paper presents the work of the designer Poul Christiansen from 1967 and presents it in the form of a short catalog. The series of designs is based on crease patterns with circles that are used as creases and as boundaries in the flat state. The work includes ideas of modular origami and a possible approach to create a volume. The designs are a significant contribution of Curved Crease Folding of the 1960s.
