Since the release of Resolution No.29-NQ/TW issued on November 4, 2013, addressing the fundamental and comprehensive renovation of education and training, the media has played a key role in broadening public understanding of this initiative. Education developments and issues are mediated and showcased in the public eye through a multi-focal perspective. Topics frequently capturing media attention include educational quality, quality assurance and accreditation, and education issues. The media used interpretative frames to portray the quality of education. This chapter explores how education quality, quality assurance, quality accreditation, and issues were communicated and discussed via the media. Empirical data were collected from online newspapers and analysed by thematic coding. The content analysis identifies various frames and evaluative connotations. The chapter also discusses the different views on the concepts of education quality and the role of media in enhancing public awareness of quality assurance and accreditation as educational institutions gain greater autonomy.
