In this study, findings delve into the revival of India’s fabrics that were previously disregarded and marginalized as a result of industrialization and changing consumer tastes driven by industrialization. However recently, there has been a resurgence, in interest, in reviving several of these forgotten customs which has enabled them to regain attention both in India and internationally. This research delves into the factors driving this resurgence by looking at government measures supporting crafts and heritage preservation; technological progress; and creative design incorporations merging historical techniques, with modern aesthetics. By delving into records, from brands and interviewing key figures in the industry in depth for this study we’ve managed to uncover the key factors behind the revival of these neglected textiles. The results shed light on how sustainability, incorporation of design trends, storytelling, and branding have expanded the allure of these textiles. Furthermore, the study highlights challenges in the revival process. Stronger government action and designer-artisan collaboration, balanced use of technology, and global marketing can activate revival on several fronts. In conclusion, this research provides compelling storytelling about the intersection of heritage, craftsmanship, and the ongoing fashion landscape in terms of reviving forgotten textiles.

摘要
