This research investigates the correlation between sound and form, specifically exploring how different musical categories evoke emotions and influence the creation of shapes. A workshop was conducted where participants were blindfolded and provided with clay while listening to various ragas. They were made to sculpt forms based on the emotions elicited by each raga. Through this experiment, we aimed to uncover the relationship between sound-induced emotions and the resultant forms sculpted by the brain. These findings have implications for designing emotionally sensitive products and other applications.

摘要

This research investigates the correlation between sound and form, specifically exploring how different musical categories evoke emotions and influence the creation of shapes. A workshop was conducted where participants were blindfolded and provided with clay while listening to various ragas. They were made to sculpt forms based on the emotions elicited by each raga. Through this experiment, we aimed to uncover the relationship between sound-induced emotions and the resultant forms sculpted by the brain. These findings have implications for designing emotionally sensitive products and other applications.
