Privacy Protection Technologies in Location Services
摘要
With the popularization of mobile devices, a large number of geo graphically-based services have emerged, which has brought great convenience to people’s lives. However, the widespread collection and use of location information has also raised concerns about the protection of individual privacy. To address this problem, researchers are actively exploring privacy-protecting technologies in various location services. In this paper, the privacy preserving techniques are categorized into two types of cloud computing and edge computing, the common methods of cloud computing techniques include there are obfuscation based techniques for processing and cryptography based transformational encryption thereby preventing the individuals from being accurately tracked. Taken together, these technologies are able to flexibly adjust the level of privacy protection and balance privacy and service accuracy, taking into account the differences in privacy sensitivity and needs of different users, and are able to provide effective location privacy while striving to maintain the utility of location based services. This paper provides a systematic overview of the specific methods and implementation principles of current cloud and edge computing privacy protection techniques in this area.
