This paper investigates the potential impact of deploying 5G networks in the 1800 MHz band on adjacent frequency meteorological satellite operations. With the rapid development and popularization of 5G networks, there is a need for an in-depth study of their use in specific frequency bands and their impact on adjacent equipment. This paper first analyzes the technical characteristics of 5G networks in the 1800 MHz band, including signal propagation characteristics and the optimal allocation of spectrum resources. Subsequently, this paper focuses on the adjacent frequency interference that may occur to meteorological satellite services when 5G terminals operate in this frequency band. Through the analysis of system parameters and simulation of interference scenarios, this paper aims to assess the impact of 5G deployment on the safe and effective operation of meteorological satellite services and propose corresponding intervention measures to ensure the reasonable and safe use of spectrum resources.

摘要
