Description of Semantic Gene Structure of Basic Word Classes in Modern Chinese
摘要
This chapter presents an integrated procedure for extracting semantic genes from modern Chinese nouns, verbs, and adjectives. Drawing on dictionary definitions and semantic literature, it first isolates the salient semantic-feature dimensions for each part of speech, then derives candidate genes accordingly. The resulting inventory is validated and refined through set merging and deduplication, frequency profiling, consistency checking, and iterative optimization of descriptive formulations.
