The frequency characteristic of AC resistance standards is essential for metrological applications as it bridges the gap from audio frequencies to radio frequencies in impedance metrology. In this proposed work, the traceability of AC resistance standards has been established using an electrical equivalent circuit model (EECM) upto 1 MHz. The AC resistance is measured using a precision LCR meter, and it is compared with the theoretical values obtained from the EECM at specified frequencies. The uncertainty in measurement for AC resistance standards has been computed according to the Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement (GUM) document.
