Shades of Understanding: Exploring the Intersection of Autism and Color Theory
摘要
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by challenges in social interaction and behavior. Understanding how children with autism perceive and respond to environmental stimuli is important for several reasons. This research paper aims to study the relationship between ASD children and their sensitivity toward the environment. Color plays a significant role in shaping these experiences. In this work we investigate the sensitivity of autistic children to certain colors which is recommended in interior spaces through experiment with children of autism and color theory. This study will be a supportive study for designers which will help them during their design practices.
