In individuals of age particularly beyond 40, a notable decline in memory retention occurs leading to conditions like Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The increasing prevalence of these cognitive disorders poses significant challenges for both patients and caregivers. This research paper aims to address complexities associated with the task of caregiving for patients experiencing Dementia and Alzheimer's and proposes a comprehensive approach focusing on enhancing caregiver experience and supporting timely intervention using user-centered design. The research paper proposes a digital platform to facilitate seamless communication between caregivers and family members of the patients and improvise the caregiving experience holistically. The goal of our approach is to understand the challenges faced by the caregivers in order to enhance the overall quality of care while reducing the load of the caregiver hence making it easy to manage the patient. The methodology involves qualitative (one on one interviews) and quantitative (surveys) research methods. Findings of this research paper aims to aid caregivers and healthcare professionals, also encouraging the development of design solutions to cater to the growing impact of memory decline in the aging population.

摘要
