Results The survey revealed people’s misconceptions for causes of diseases and the practices related to age-old customs and traditions. The main challenges faced by the health workers were resistance to change and non-acceptance of scientific reasoning. More than 60% of the respondents expressed confidence in their ability to increase knowledge and change the attitude and practices. More than 65% health workers had played computer games and were eager to be trained to develop competencies to bring a behavioural change in the community. Conclusion Based on the result analysis, a prototype of a game has been created which can further be used as a framework to train health workers after an exhaustive, exploratory, and multi-centric study.
