Double-Liquid Micro-disturbed Grouting Technology for Deformation Control

Shortly after the Shanghai Metro Line 1 commenced operation, noticeable differential settlement occurred in some sections of the tunnel. In some cases, it exceeded the allowable adjustment range for track fasteners, necessitating the re-customization of fasteners to meet clearance requirements. The longitudinal differential tunnel settlement unavoidably caused the joint dislocation of tunnel segment rings, with worsening joint dislocation leading to the failure of sealing gaskets, aggravated water leakage, disengagement between the track bed and tunnel segments, and in turn faster differential settlement. This, consequently, posed a threat to the tunnel’s structural integrity and train operation safety.
