This article explores the advancements in regenerative braking systems in railway transport, emphasizing their role in energy harvesting, sustainability, and efficiency. The study includes an in-depth analysis of electric motors, energy conversion processes, and the technologies used in energy harvesting and storage. Through physical modeling and simulation, this paper compares traditional braking systems with modern regenerative systems, highlighting their benefits and challenges.
