In the past decade, the vital role of a robust Corporate Governance (CG) mechanism in fostering value creation in emerging economies has only witnessed an upward trend. Strong corporate governance becomes pertinent for sustainable growth and building a competitive edge as these developing economies undergo major transitions as the global paradigms shift. The book chapter delves into the intricacies of corporate governance in emerging economies to unveil its profound impact on value creation for a comprehensive of stakeholders, customers, employees, and society. The data is gathered from the SCOPUS database using a relevant and logical search query. The collected data is analyzed through the R-studio package (Biblioshiny) and VOSviewer to conduct a bibliometric analysis during a time frame from 2014 to 2024. The term ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ emerged as the dominating keyword. The growth of literature on corporate governance identified three major clusters: ‘Corporate Social Responsibility and Economic Impact’, ‘Environmental Impact and Investments’, and ‘Methodological Approaches in Emerging Economies’. The study presented underlying themes and patterns, emerging areas of research, and implications for policymakers and organizations to bridge the gap from theoretical knowledge to a practice-based approach.
