Decentralized Application (DApp) Implementation for an Efficient and Secure Employee Management System
摘要
The article provides a thorough examination of a decentralized application (DApp) made to simplify personnel management’s administrative duties. Functions like paying employees, storing data securely with Filecoin and IPFS, and executing transactions on Ethereum and Matic blockchains are all made simpler by the DApp. The propose work implements Next .js for front-end development and Tailwind CSS for styling, while Hardhat serves as the Ethereum development environment. Ether .js facilitates interactions with Ethereum nodes, while Polygon (Matic) blockchain leverages scalability and IPFS/Filecoin for decentralized data storage. The paper also discusses the DApp’s significance in the contemporary landscape of employee management, referencing relevant literature on decentralized applications and associated technologies. The DApp’s architecture and technical stack are explored, with examples from the “Contracts” directory. The research also evaluates the practicality of using IPFS/Filecoin for secure data storage and the benefits of Matic (Polygon) as a Layer 2 scaling solution. Through testing and user input, the suggested work methodically assesses other factors while placing a strong emphasis on the user interface and experience. Using Ethereum as the foundation for certain system functions is a crucial aspect of the Employee Management DApp. The role of Ethereum in the DApp is discussed in this part, along with how smart contracts on Ethereum facilitate user management and communication and address any scalability concerns.
