Noise generated by civil aircraft during take-off and landing is the primary source of noise pollution in and around airports. With the ongoing development of the air transport industry, public concern over aircraft noise has intensified. According to Annex 16 of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Convention and Part 36 of China Civil Aviation Regulations (CCAR-36), specific noise limit requirements for transport aircraft have been established. To ensure compliance with noise regulations, the applicant must obtain the aircraft noise data through flight test and determine the certified noise level via data processing. This paper analyzes the critical procedures for aircraft noise data processing and the critical aspects of validating processing software.
