In the Tang Dynasty, there were new developments in imperial architecture built upon the palace ensemble of the Sui Dynasty. Studying the heritage sites in conjunction with historical literature allows us to gain specific perceptual knowledge, thereby compensating for our previous shortcomings in understanding the architectural achievements of the Tang Dynasty.

摘要
