Sustainable Artificial Intelligence-Based Renewable Energy in the Construction 5.0 to Support the Pollution Halo Hypothesis and Sustainable Economic Development
摘要
Construction 5.0’s outputs have the potential capacity to influence environmental performance and resilience of all industries, their infrastructure, performance, inputs, and outputs. Construction 5.0’s reliance on energy emphasises the importance of and need for both increasing renewable energy’s percentage in the energy consumed in production/construction processes and in efficiency in and effectiveness of the energy consumed. Effectiveness of strategic green innovation in the field of energy tends to be enhanced through new developments in technologies and innovations. Among them, sustainable artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential for making a strategic impact on the energy sector, affecting nearly all industries and the sustainable economic development. Based on the literature review, this chapter aims to examine the drivers for, roles of, and ways for the widespread of sustainable AI-based renewable energy in Industry 5.0 and Construction 5.0 in supporting the pollution halo hypothesis and sustainable economic development. Contribution of AI-based renewable energy to the pollution halo hypothesis’ achievement and how to enhance their contribution to green- and clean-energy-based sustainable economic development are explained. Recommendations on how to support effectiveness in, and effective and strategic widespread use of sustainable AI-based renewable energy to achieve sustainable economic development in compliance with the Construction 5.0 have been provided. Furthermore, the importance of passive design principles integrated sustainable AI-based renewable energy-based smart factories and built environment as outputs of Construction 5.0 has been highlighted for sustainable and resilient development, and resilience to crises and disasters, and widespread of pollution halo effects. This chapter can be useful to Construction 5.0’s stakeholders.
