In the twenty-first century, the energy crisis problem has become increasingly pronounced as the global demand for energy continues to rise, creating challenges, such as geopolitical tensions, supply chain disruptions, along with the need for rapid decarbonization. As populations grow and industrialization accelerates, the imperative to develop efficient low-carbon technologies becomes increasingly vital for undertaking the multifaceted challenges posed by the energy crisis. Therefore, interest is shifting quickly in such a way that energy should be created and used without harming the environment. In this connection, chemists from all over the globe have developed and are still trying to create various tools and techniques for generating renewable energy in greener ways; hence, huge investments are going on in this field. This chapter offers a comprehensive probe of the essential role of chemical tools in the development of green energy solutions. Moreover, beyond energy production, this study also explores the broader environmental and economic prospects of these chemical tools, clarifying their potential to reduce pollution, waste, and overall ecological impact. Chemical tools will play an even greater role in mass production of green energy and a sustainable future.
