The agricultural sector of the twenty-first century faces unprecedented challenges due to increasing global population, shifting climate patterns, and resource constraints. The formulation of effective policies and long-term prosperity heavily rely on the analysis of opinions. Farmers in Maharashtra grapple with numerous financial hurdles, including fluctuating crop prices, escalating input costs, burdensome debts, restricted market access, and environmental concerns. This research zeroes in on the viewpoints of farmers and other stakeholders regarding the agricultural economy, and the sustainability and stability of Indian farmers. To facilitate this, the research team crafted an exhaustive questionnaire that touched upon various aspects relevant to the study, with a special emphasis on Agricultural Economics. Azure Machine Learning tools and Python code were utilised to conduct an opinion analysis on the feedback gathered from farmers and others. The study received 1015 responses solely from farmers and 443 from other stakeholders. An analysis of the thoughts and expectations of farmers and stakeholders in the agricultural sector revealed a positive outlook. Both groups are keen on having guaranteed and fixed prices for agricultural products and enhancing production through practical training on the application of modern technology in agriculture and resilience. Stakeholders are advocating for training on sideline activities, crop insurance schemes, established pricing structures, and easy access to financial services.
