Digital trust and cybersecurity are some of the most current areas of worry for national and international security in the twenty-first century, in the age of Industrial Revolution 4.0, where digitization in every industry is accelerating . Trust concerns in the new digital environment have been brought on by the rate of increase in cyberattacks. Thus, networked manufacturing machinery’s vulnerability is exploited, and cybersecurity threats become more common and have a demonstrable adverse effect on corporate results. When analyzing cybersecurity, the security, authenticity, and data availability linked with interconnected industrial machinery are taken into account. The issue of cyberattacks is being continuously addressed by the development and updating of technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence. The study has discussed the importance of digital trust and cyber security in the age of digitization . Additionally, the use of AI blockchain to achieve cyber security is thoroughly discussed. Privacy and security are the primary influencing factors of trust that can be addressed by the blockchain. Artificial intelligence (AI) advances (ML and DL) show promise for empowering experts in cybersecurity to counteract the ever-evolving threat posed by hackers. After the entire study, some discussion and recommendations are also provided.
