This paper discusses a smart irrigation device that connects an Arduino UNO to the Internet of Things (IoT). The goals of this study are to look into the idea of smart watering systems that use the Internet of Things (IoT) and to create a system that uses an Arduino and automatically waters a plant based on the information it gets from a soil sensor. Agriculture is an important part of India’s growth and food output as a whole. The economy of our country depends on the monsoons, which are not a good source of water. Irrigation is used in the area of agriculture because of this. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a major turning point in the history of technology. IoT, which stands for “Internet of Things,” is a new technology that lets people watch and control devices anywhere in the world. It can connect tools to things that live. Agriculture is one of India’s most important businesses, and it also makes a big difference to the economy of the country. Proper watering and Internet of Things (IoT) technology must be used to make sure that high-quality goods are made and to reduce the amount of work needed. We have an intelligent irrigation system that lets us use many different kinds of equipment, like temperature sensors, humidity sensors, and soil moisture monitors. These monitors will figure out the different soil conditions and then automatically water the land based on how much moisture is in the soil.
