Generalization Orlicz Sequence Spaces with Rao and Ren’s Norm

This paper introduces about construction of generalized Orlicz sequence spaces by extending traditional Orlicz spaces through the use of Rao and Ren’s norm and a broader class of functions known as s-Young functions. By replacing the Young function with an s-Young function, we aim to construct a different version of generalized Orlicz sequence spaces. Utilizing the definitions and properties established in previous research on Orlicz sequence spaces, we develop a new generalized sequence space denoted as \(l_{\varPhi _s^*}\) . The methodology used is the definition of Rao and Ren’s generalized Orlicz space and the characteristics of S-Young functions. We then proceed to define a norm similar to the Rao and Ren’s norm but using s-Young function. The resulting generalized Orlicz sequence space retains the desirable properties of Orlicz sequence spaces in previous research while offering greater flexibility and adaptability of the space. This research aims to expand the theoretical understanding and potential applications of Orlicz sequence spaces, paving the way for future research and practical implementations in various mathematical and applied field.
