Biomechanical assessments of patients with low implant stability have been conducted with vertical, horizontal, and removal torque loading types to evaluate the micromotion in pre- and post-crown conditions. The vertical and horizontal loading produced a high micromotion in both pre- and post-crown conditions. The removal torque also produced a high micromotion especially if the torque is located at the top of the crown. The trabecular plays an important role in propagating the stress due to external loading. The generated stress in the area around the implant was increased when the cortical thickness was thicker.
