Biomechanical assessments on patient with various dental implant stabilities were conducted to evaluate the responses of micromotion due to different types of loading. Three types of loading (vertical, horizontal, and removal torque) have been simulated in pre- and post-crown conditions. The micromotions generated due to vertical and horizontal loading do not cause a high micromotion when the removal torque loading can generate a high micromotion both in pre- and post-crown. In the patient who underwent a high removal torque, it is possible that their osseointegration is difficult to achieve early due to high micromovement on their implant.

摘要

Biomechanical assessments on patient with various dental implant stabilities were conducted to evaluate the responses of micromotion due to different types of loading. Three types of loading (vertical, horizontal, and removal torque) have been simulated in pre- and post-crown conditions. The micromotions generated due to vertical and horizontal loading do not cause a high micromotion when the removal torque loading can generate a high micromotion both in pre- and post-crown. In the patient who underwent a high removal torque, it is possible that their osseointegration is difficult to achieve early due to high micromovement on their implant.
