摘要

The phenomenon of globalization has indeed facilitated the development of new poles of creation, consumption, and distribution of power. The economic corridors that emerged, together with infrastructures and trade networks, became important tools for the regional integration and geo-economic framework. This study looks into how nation-states use these corridors to meet their economic and political ends. The study investigates the traces of changes into the global governance and geopolitics derived from the prominent projects like the BRI or INSTC. Through their investigation of establishing alliances, solving regional problems, or dealing with the geopolitical developments, the study emphasizes the two-sidedness of the potential of the establishment of economic corridors for international relations in as much as they can promote cooperation or increase tensions and thus determine the configuration of international relations in the future.
