On Translating Association-Oriented Structures of Unified Process Metamodel Into OWL
摘要
The article presents a methodology for translating Unified Process Metamodel (UPM) models, developed within the Association-Oriented Metamodel (AOM), into OWL ontologies. The intensional part, concerning the mapping of elements such as associations, roles, and collections, as well as the extensional part, involving model translation, are described. The method was validated using a process model, demonstrating consistency with the original structure. However, challenges related to semantic differences between AOM and OWL were identified, requiring further analysis to minimize semantic loss during translation.
