Nanomaterial Synthesis and Characterization

One of the active transdisciplinary research areas in the intersections of solid-state physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering is the study of various nanomaterials. The abundance of synthetic materials found by industrialization and academia serves as evidence of this interest. One is that to keep lowering costs and speeding up the transmission and storage of information, new materials must be created on an ever-smaller scale to advance lab-on-a-chip sensors. Another is that, when compared to conventional materials, nanoparticles exhibit unique and frequently improved features, creating opportunities for new nanotechnological applications. Dendrimers used for self-assembly, which have numerous terminal functions and well-defined radial topologies, are the first material discussed in the opening section. They have a lot of potential for use in biomedical applications, such as sensors, diagnostics, drug administration, and therapies.
