Despite advancements, challenges such as high costs, maintenance complexity, and data security issues persist. We identify major concerns and potential study areas in this evolving sector. IoT in agriculture offers efficient and sustainable farming techniques, with future research focusing on designing flexible devices to cut costs and maximize performance, boosting global food security.
