Multiphoton Microscopy and Nonlinear Optical Techniques for Bio-Imaging Applications

The present chapter highlights an introduction to the two-photon fluorescence (TPF) and its applications to record images of the biological specimen. The discussion is followed by multiphoton microscopy and its applications. The nonlinear optical techniques in bio-imaging and options for super-resolution microscopic imaging are also discussed.
