This review underscores the significant threat posed by phishing, especially voice phishing, which targets individuals to illicitly obtain personal information. Despite the availability of various anti-phishing tools, the multifaceted nature of phishing makes complete prevention challenging. The reviewed studies highlight innovative detection approaches, including machine learning models, neural network architectures, and real-time systems, which show promise in improving detection accuracy and mitigating phishing risks. However, continuous research and development are necessary to address evolving phishing tactics and enhance current solutions. By identifying research gaps and emphasizing user education, this paper highlights the need for comprehensive and user-friendly anti-phishing measures. Ongoing innovation and targeted strategies are crucial for enhancing cybersecurity and protecting individuals from phishing attacks.
