摘要

The rapid advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT) necessitates effective tools for device simulation to enhance development and testing processes. This paper explores the integration of Ngrok and Flask to create a robust environment for IoT device simulation, focusing on performance metrics and the implications of rate limiting. Ngrok serves as a tunneling solution that allows seamless remote access to local Flask applications, enabling developers to simulate IoT devices and monitor interactions in real time. In the previous paper the researchers have investigated key performance indicators, including latency, connection stability, and throughput, to assess the efficiency of the setup considered for the study. In this paper analysis and the impact of rate limiting on system performance and user experience, providing insights into how developers can manage resource utilization while ensuring responsive applications is the prime focus. Through experimental studies and case scenarios, this research highlights the advantages of using Ngrok and Flask for IoT simulations, for optimizing IoT development workflows and enhancing application resilience in dynamic environments. The findings contribute to validate and facilitate innovation in IoT ecosystems while addressing critical performance and scalability challenges.
