The electrical discharge machining process parameters for aluminum composites can be optimized in several responses using the Taguchi-based Grey Relational Analysis that is described in this study. Finding the optimal parametric combination of process parameters that results in the maximum material removal rate, lowest surface roughness rate, and least amount of tool wear is the aim of this study. The experimental design used for the trials is the Taguchi orthogonal array. Aluminum composite prototypes are made by a process called stir casting. To find out how each process parameter specifically affects the replies that are produced, a variance analysis is performed. The confirmation test verifies the experiment’s conclusions.

摘要
