Crime management is an important activity for any Government. Cops (Police force) is in action to manage and reduce the crime activities. A lot of factors are associated with every crime such as crime area, type of crime, age and gender of victim. Every crime is analyzed and the requirement of the skill set of the police force to handle this crime is noted at first. Considering different factors it’s become challenging to deploy the proper police force in different areas. As well as the recruitment of police force is also dependent on the requirement of police force category and number wise. This research work analyzes the different factors associated with the crime and the requirement of type of police force based on the merit of crime. Finally, a clustering based methodology is proposed to help the authority to identify the required skillsets of police force based on granular crime details such as category, victim gender, and locality as well as their deployment in different areas.
