A Review on Weldability of Duplex Stainless Steel
摘要
This article presents the review on weldability of duplex stainless steel. When contrasted to traditional austenitic stainless steels, Duplex stainless steels have superior mechanical and corrosion properties because of their unique balance of austenite and ferrite. Nowadays, duplex stainless steels (DSS) are widely utilized in the paper, fertiliser, chemical, petroleum and other manufacturing-related industries. This paper examines the weldability, discovery and industry priority of DSS. Precipitation behaviour of duplex stainless steels during the welding process is reviewed. The systematic review discusses the impact of phase transformation on microstructure, mechanical characteristics and corrosion behaviour. The behaviour of precipitation is explained in relation to thermal ageing. A summary of the properties and applications of austenitic, duplex and super duplex stainless steels is provided. The duplex stainless-steel uses in many industrial areas are covered in the systematic review.
