Several challenges exist within dental education, including effectively training students in practical skills, ensuring the quality of dental education, addressing the obstacles associated with online and distance learning, and recognizing the limitations of virtual training in adequately imparting practical skills compared to traditional face-to-face training. To overcome these challenges, it is essential to utilize technology to enhance educational experiences. It is crucial to integrate novel pedagogical methodologies and evaluate the function of technology in the realm of education to establish genuine learning prospects that address the different requirements of learners. To tackle these problems, this study proposes using augmented reality (AR) simulation to promote a blended learning methodology. Augmented reality refers to effectively merging virtual things into the physical environment, facilitating interactive contact between the two realms. The aim of the proposed augmented reality (AR) system is to provide a means of teaching the biomechanics of tooth movements through the utilization of a comprehensive 3D model that offers a wide range of features.
