Making deductions from the knowledge gained from data has become essential for making well-informed decisions in the data-driven world of today. In order to extract knowledge from data, this study discusses the idea of wisdom mining, which goes beyond conventional data mining approaches by taking into account characteristics like context, utility, time, and location. It explores the connection between artificial intelligence (AI) and wisdom mining, emphasizing AI resources that can be used in wisdom mining. In addition, this paper distinguishes between wisdom mining and data mining, highlighting the advantages and fundamental ideas of the latter. The difficulties in putting wisdom mining into practice are examined and solutions are suggested. Furthermore, it presents the wisdom mining domain’s next areas for study.
