The earthquake alarm in the elevator system is a cutting-edge device meant to keep people safe during seismic events. This technology enables elevator systems to recognize the beginning of an earthquake and instantly stop the operation of the elevator, protecting passengers from becoming trapped inside or hurt during an earthquake. A network of sensors that continuously track seismic activity in real-time powers the system. When an earthquake is found, the system quickly alerts the elevator control system, causing it to halt and open the doors on the closest floor. Building occupants are given an additional measure of security, thanks to this technology, especially in earthquake-prone regions. As earthquakes become more frequent worldwide, earthquake alarm in elevator systems has become a crucial safety component in contemporary buildings. In this paper, the initial studies showed how the earthquake is identified using a seismometer, PIC controller, etc. In this survey paper, we studied nearly 20 papers and made a literature survey on how an elevator responds to earthquakes.

摘要
