In defiance of Indian women being considered as repertoire of entrepreneurial acumen and a mitogenic factor of economic growth, they are not very much attracted toward entrepreneurship. The suggestions from policymakers in context to women in marginalized group emphasize on education, experience, training and specific programs and their timely implementation for creation of entrepreneurial zeal. Notwithstanding, there is restricted knowledge base of women engagement in entrepreneurial activities especially in STEAM (Science, technology, engineering, art and math). Only few researches have been successful in exploring the impact of hands-on experience on behavioral and attitudinal aspect of women entrepreneurs. The present research contemplates a gender imbalance in attitudinal aspect and intention of women entrepreneurs. Apart from it, this study provides a confirmation that hands-on experience plays a crucial role in creation of entrepreneurial intention wherein entrepreneurial awareness enhances entrepreneurial intention using multiple regression approach. The present study provides an inference to researchers and policymakers through empirical investigation to women entrepreneurs in STEAM.

摘要
