To calculate the stress and deformation distribution and analyze the strength of the main bearing cap of a diesel engine in the working process. The dynamic model of the main bearing cap of the diesel engine is established in ANSYS Workbench software. The grid is divided by mapping and local optimization. The pressure change curve of the bearing seat at work is loaded. Then, the stress and deformation of the bearing cap are calculated in finite element calculation software ANSYS Workbench. The strength of the main bearing cap of the diesel engine is analyzed accordingly. The results show that the strength and deformation of the main bearing cap of the diesel engine meet the engineering requirements.
