GenAI-Powered Adaptive Assessments for Livelihood Skills in Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
摘要
Generating assessment questions for livelihood skills has the influence of identifying the learning outcome of people with intellectual disabilities (ID). Conventional assessment methods fail to address the unique needs of these people, resulting in an inappropriate method for assessing their job-oriented skills and abilities. Automated question generation techniques have emerged as a solution to construct good quality questions based on the student’s specific needs. This study uses GenAI-adaptive assessment to transform the evaluation process by introducing a tailored assessment framework based on the student’s learning style and cognitive ability. This method increases the possibility of successful skill acquisition and empowering people with ID to lead more independent and fulfilling lives. The examination procedure integrates voice-to-text software to ensure fair and effective assessment for people with diverse needs. The analysis report contains detailed information about the student’s significant areas for improvement, required training, and job readiness certificate data. The findings underscore the transformative impact of GenAI in assessing the livelihood skills of people with ID.
